Reflecting Christ Light
Two books of reflections to provide for reflection through the Christian Year as described in Spirituality in Season.
- Cradled Wisdom: the Incarnation Cycle.
- Fire on Earth: the Paschal Cycle.

The reflections emphasize Christ as a source of puzzlement, confusion, scandal and rejection by the
conventional, but as a keystone to hold together a radically different life. I also aim to open up
interilluminations with non-Christian ways of faith, especially the Buddhist.
Each reflection includes a Bible text, poem, a picture, some theological thoughts, and some suggested
questions for discussion, a suggested activity, and material for contemplation, concluding with a prayer.
The material can be used in a number of suggested ways, by individuals, parish discussion groups,
retreats, and even for labyrinth-type events.
You can find a sample poem, picture and prayer designed for inclusion in these books at this Month's Reflection.
